Tomorrow, I'll Do Pretty Much The Same

Some folks would be happy just to have one dream come true
But everything you gather is just more that you can lose.

I WAS WALKING IN THE PARK QUIZ

1.Which of these are you most likely to use as a greeting?
"Hello, good to see you."
"It's me, dears!"
"Piss off."
"Bonjour, sweetie."

2.Which of the following is your favourite drink?
Anything more than 70% proof.
Appletiser.
A nice cup of tea.
Bolly, darling.

3.Which is your favourite place out of the following?
Anywhere with a cabinet full of prescription medication, cigarettes and no natural light.
Somewhere you can fill in your 'Puzzler' magazine.
The Tate Modern - awe-inspiring and open to interpretation.
Anywhere on Bond Street - hell, you'd probably lick the pavements to be in with the crowd.

4.What are you most likely to be doing on a Saturday night?
Bed at 8pm, just after Coronation Street, dear.
Having a nice quiet evening in with some hot cocoa and Radio 4.
Having drinks with some fabulous people in a fabulous little place.
On your back.

Whatever's in at the moment.
Food? I haven't eaten since 1973.
Something wholesome, healthy and truly scrummy.
Something that won't irritate your hiatus hernia.

6.What's your favourite fashion label?
Marks & Spencer, dear? Is that a fashion label?
My little baby; the Chanel jacket, babe.
Christian Lacroix of course, sweetie!
How ridiculous. Labels are everything wrong with the world.

7.What would your say your figure is like?
Tremendous. All of my drinking pays dividends.
Dumpy, with hairy feet.
Mr Gravity's not been very nice to you at all.
Oafish, but still fabulous because the labels cover it up, darling.

8.What do you do when stuck in a crisis?
Just keep drinking and take some meds.
A crisis dear? Is that what this is?
Cry for help and keep drinking.
Think everything through methodically. The best solution is usually the simplest.

Mission In the Rain

3/18/78

Ten years ago I walked this street
my dreams were ridin tall
Tonight I would be thankful
Lord, for any dream at all

Some folks would be happy
just to have one dream come true
but everything you gather
is just more that you can lose

Come again
Walking along in the Mission in the rain
Come again
Walking along in the Mission in the rain

All the things I planned to do
I only did half way
Tomorrow will be Sunday
born of rainy Saturday

HERE I GO AGAIN...

This has been a wild past few weeks. Left Portland with a bang! Short Shorts party was way too fun. I mean seeing tons of dudes rocking mini's was hilarious. Left Oregon a few days later to go visit Humboldt. It had been 2 years since my move and nothing had really changed there. A few of my girls had kids but other than that, the place is still one of the most debauturas places on earth. You can't even imagine. It was really nice to see all the homies and say hi to the massive redwoods. After 2 weeks knee deep in chaos, I bailed to so cal to see the fam and get ready for my NYC mini move. I arrived in NYC on Friday. Took a cab to my new spot in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. This place is amazing. I guess it is located in the Polish part of town and kinda down the road from the hipster capitol, Williamsburg. My roomie, Aaron is an art handler and artist. Oh and he loves Gossip Girl- so do I - don't tell!~! Friday night we went to the city for his buddy's birthday. We went to this speakeasy type of bar. It was crazy, they only served drinking in tea cups. Great way to make you think you are not really pounding shots. Great! Woke up Saturday not feeling 100%, so we did brunch on Bedford St. We met up with some more of my roomies homies and drank breakfast bombs, which consist of a momosa with a shot of vodka. Death, I know! After a few, we met up with my best friend, Crystal and had some foamies. Foamies are $3 huge styrofoam cups filled with Budwiser. Normally not my thing, but when in Rome... or Brooklyn! The rest of the day was out of control, i am sure you can imagine, but I made it home safe. Now I am chilling out and enjoying this beautiful sunny day. Earlier I went out and got some flowers, which are making my day even better. Might hang out with Blair Thetford later today. Should be fun considering we haven't seen eachother in almost 10 years... I think my dreads were like 2 inches last time I saw him!- old school!! OK love you and miss you tons!

Till the next episode...
love!

Girltalk

TRIPLE YIKES!!! I went to see Girltalk at the Roseland this past weekend. It was off the hook to say the least. I really like this guys energy. At one point he had evryone on the stage. It was wild.

KIDZ RAGE was back in effect this weekend. Didn't realize how long it had been or how long I have been out of it. When I moved to PDX, I tried to stay clear of all my hippie homies, not because I didn't love them to death, but rather I needed time to myself and wanted to see what life was like away from all the hippie shit. This weekend, I raged with the kidz. It ws super fun and I had no idea how much I missed it.

Can't a kid just rage? We'll kid, I guess they can!
Cheers!

On Tour For Life

Mom, This could be you. I didn't turn out that bad, now did I?

Bend>Suttle Lake>BreightenBush

This weekend rocked! I met up with Unkle, Number 1, Jennifer and the rest of Bendana in Bend, Or on Friday night at the BBC. Love it! Sadly, they were out of Hop Head, my favorite new beer. After a night of fun & games, Kati and I headed up to Suttle Lake. Yeh, it is summer! It was like 99 degrees on the lake- loving that! We just hiked around and laid out for awhile, then Unkle & Fino met up with us. We BBQed and floated around all day long! FUN FUN FUN~! On Sunday, the boys took off early, so we went and rented a fisher man's boat. It was slow, but so much fun. I made the mistake of jumping off... oops! i couldn't get back on. Looks like I am going to have to take a guy out next time to help out on my boat. After a few hours of boating, Kati & I rolled up to BreightenBush where we chilled in 120 degree hot springs and saunaed it up. After a hippie spa day, we had a huge vegan organic dinner at the hippie spa. It was the best weekend ever! I feel so refreshed and in-touch with my inner hippie. I love summer. I love the way the sky is clear and blue. I love the trees and the glisten of the sun on the water. I got sad as we made our way back to Portland. I know in my heart, I am a country girl. I think I am in love with Bend, Or. I am not too sure how the winter's are, but I am in love with Summertime Bend. It is kinda my thing: trees, beer, kind people who are fun. Love it! LOve you!

Till the next episode...

Bend Over!

Hey now! This past weekend, Kati & I visited Jason #1 & Jennifer down in Bend, Oregon. Woah, I already knew Jason & Jen were fun, but add a few pints from Bend Brewing Co. and shit gets explosive! The BBC just won best brew in the world! Tonya Cornett of the BBC just won Brewmaster of the year!- you go girl! I can agree with the committee on this one, her Hop Head is the best beer I have ever tasted in my life. I drank so much, I now have a genuine beer belly! I even bought 3 growlers of the beer that makes me so hoppy!! So add some hoppy pints to the already fabulous krew and what comes next? BENDANNA!! This is our new band / dance team featuring Jennifer, Kati, Allison, Meg, Little John, and myself. Jason #1 & Sunshine are our producers and agents. We are known by our vibrant purple bandanna's and our eclectic dance style. If you get a chance, this is a show you are not going to want to miss. I will post the video as soon as I get it. So all & all, Bend, Or. rocks. I will definitely terrorize that place again! Next time I hope to make the 86ed wall at Bil''s D & D. Good times & great oldies... till the next episode...PIMP DOWN!

SUMMER JAMZ 2008

We are all P.M. Dawn fans at Poolside Burnside as well. This is definatly on the summer jam 2008 mix.

Married with Kids

Hello. Over the weekend I have decided that I want to settle down. I am not entirely sure what that means yet, but for starters I have decided that I want a man to marry. Not now or anything like that, but just in general. I have always thought against marriage and children, but now realize that I am probably going to need a partner in crime. So, if you know anyone who is pretty hot & pretty manly, then direct him my way. I think the Ab Fab is getting to me & as a result don't want to be an old maid, or a maid in general.

Hawaii

Stacey & I used to go to Hawaii all the time. Here is one of my favorite shots from our first trip together. We are on the road from Hana, the Kings Hwy past Seven Sacred Pools.

SHOOTS!

"I LOVE BIRTHDAYS ESPECIALLY WHEN THEY ARE MINE." - quote from E. Ward.
I am getting excited for my birthday: MARCH 26...PEOPLE GET READY!

Mom, please don't send any sweaters. Jewelry & plane tickets only please. You know I am a gypsy and can only bring some much with me on my nomadic journeys.
