Home For The Holidays
I flew home to La Habra from Portland last Friday night. My parents picked up my drunk ass from LAX, where of course we ran into some traffic drama with a agro police office, happy to give holiday tickets to all. Thank God we missed out on his gifts. We rolled out to the OC, where we met up with my lil sis, Stacey. It was so good to see everyone. I woke up on Saturday with half a hangover. We kept it mellow and just hung out. My parents & I rolled out to lunch and then out for some shopping. Then we met up with crazy, I mean Stacey, and chilled some more. Chilling out with the family was super fun for me. I love to just hang out with them, no drama, just chill time. Christmas Eve, I went to dog beach with Zero. We went in the water & danced in the sun. This is my most favorite thing to do. We even got to hang with Andy for a few minutes. That night we went to church & sang carols. This is our holiday tradition. I went to bed that night having my typical panic attack. I woke up early on Christmas Day, started yelling "Merry Christmas" and got Stacey out of bed. We waited at the stairs, as usual, and had our picture taken as we made our way into the living room. Even though we are 'grown' adults, we still take part in this tradition as if we were children. Wait, I think we are still kidz...anyhow... We all went crazy opening gifts. We always have so much fun doing this. This is one of the best times we have getting along. This year, my mother gave me my Grandmother's wedding ring. I was shocked and excited, but I knew that Stacey wanted it more. So, I gave her the ring. Now I am questioning that but that is another story. The morning was great. The rest of the day was filled with family, fun and more presents. I love presents! It was so good to see all of my family. All & all it was a really good trip. Now that I am back in Portland, I miss my family, my dog & the sun so much. It is raining here in Portland and I long for the warm of California. I love you and miss you so much! Till the next episode...
